About Us
The Wheeler Community Music Outreach organization is a club dedicated to serving our community through music outreach by performing at assisted living communities, elementary schools, at open houses, etc. Live music gives the performers and listeners a chance to interact. This club consists of students who are passionate about music and hope to spread our love for this to the community. The mission of our club is to build positive relationships between Wheeler High School students and the community via the very special gift of music. Music Outreach volunteers have the freedom to choose the type of music they want to play and volunteers can also choose to play solos or in ensembles that they form themselves or that Music Outreach creates. Performances are scheduled on an individual basis giving our performance sites and our performances the maximum possible flexibility.
What We Do
As a high school club, we perform at several assisted living communities regularly and have elementary school performances to motivate and encourage more people to get involved with music. Every year, we aim to have several performances at different places within the community to give back and spread our passion for music. We meet on Tuesdays mornings in the orchestra room.
